Appendix E: Replacing the Hard Drive

EDGE Mini DVR

Make sure that the system is OFF and the power cable has been disconnected before changing

the hard drive.

Removing the hard drive

To remove the hard drive:

1. Remove the screws on the side panels. Remove the single screw on the top and bottom panel

of the system.

2. Carefully slide the cover off the system.

3. Remove the four screws that secure the hard drive to the mounting bracket.

4. Remove the SATA data and power connectors.

5. Remove the hard drive from the mounting bracket.
